I feel less “guilt” here than I do on traditional social media, since it isn’t like my website is showing up automatically on someone’s feed; they really need to click on it and look at it intentionally. Regarding perfumes: it’s a pain, but definitely purchase a sample before a full bottle of just about anything!! Blind buying is risky, especially for scents that are a little unconventional. And perfume is unfortunately just so expensive </3 but if you do sample or try anything, feel free to let me know I hope to expand the cabinet soon as I try different things. I only found out about Postcrossing after my wife saw one of her coworkers with a postcard with a ton of stamps on it and inquired about where she got it from-- it's a super awesome thing. I hope to buy some more stamps soon and get back into it!! and YES please do make your own perfume page, I'd love to see what you like best and how you format it all! Heretic has a bunch of cool scents, I'd love to try out some more-- they seem awesome for people who like something unconventional and a little creepy but still super wearable. I appreciate all the love, your site is so cool and charming. I love the "what's in my bag" aspect.

I only ever really started it in December 2024, so whatever is here I learned how to do over the past 7 months. It’s a lot easier when so many cool sites out there have full pages of resources to help you learn and discover new techniques. (I love an iced matcha latte! vanilla always goes so good with matcha too. if you’re ever anywhere and see a coffee shop or bakery advertise a “matcha tiramisu latte” GET THAT it’s DELICIOUS). I’m super happy with how the breakroom has turned out so far, I hope to expand the perfume section soon— each perfume will have its own page where I give a brief description of it, as well as some Fragrantica reviews I particularly enjoy. I got this idea from ancientcrypt. John certainly was a real jerk, and I can at least find some solace in the fact that the legal community (especially in the city that I live) is quite small, and law school is tight-knit. This means that he likely will have very few friends. Word spreads fast. And my bug bites are healed, thank you so much! There was a billion of them hahaha

Omg that’s so sweet!! I think it’s so awesome when bands talk openly about their biggest inspirations and other bands they’re big fans of. It really makes me happy to see. It really makes me smile when I remember that even bands WE look up to have bands that THEY really idolize— we’re all just fans at the end of the day. (and yes I really do see you as the highest authority when it comes to Bears In Trees honestly)
