Hello, I really like the aesthetic of your site. I like Singer Sargent as well, "A Street in Venice" is one of my favorite paintings of all time! I've never smelled a fragrance that has petrichor, I might need to check out Nosferatu.

What is your favorite drink to order at a coffee shop?: Mocha (I love Hot Chocolate but I get the shakes from all the sugar)

Website: https://scenemime.neocities.org/

Been taking some time to trawl through your site and it's so lovely. The variety of postcards from all over the world are so cool. The story behind each of the fragrances are really intriguing, and as someone looking to get into scents it's super helpful! As you said, true outdoor scents are hard to come by so Pineward seems excellent. Your wiki page is such an awesome idea, I defo need to spend time browsing it! (*´▽`*)❀.

Hello there, coffeeplant. I was doing a bit of research for my next podcast episode, about the current state of the WWW, and how more and more people are running away from genAI and social networks, to 20 years back in the past. I then remembered that Neocities exists, and your page was my first click there. Happy to see digital gardens like this, with personal aesthetics and a smell of freedom. Any book that you specially like? I love Geralt of Rivia series, for example. My last read was Iron Flame (Fourth Wing's sequel). Have a nice day!

What is your favorite drink to order at a coffee shop?: I don't drink coffee, but if I did I would take it black

Website: https://stoneroad.neocities.org/

I love your site I know I'm a little late but I love your blog, (congratulations on getting married). Also, I love your legal resources. I took a few entry level law classes when I was in college and always found them fascinating. Even though Windows XP is a pain to use for real work, it's aesthetic is still my favorite.

Thank you so much!! I appreciate the love, you have to be one of the only people out there looking at all my legal links hahaha. I definitely want to add more, I honestly just keep forgetting!! Also a big fan of how XP looks

What is your favorite drink to order at a coffee shop?: hmmm today, I'm feeling like an Einspanner

Oh thanks a lot for that! I can't believe I missed the entire credits section haha, I should have actually perused the sitemap more carefully. Comparing this to your old homepage, you have certinely gotten a lot better (even though that one is still pretty decent haha, I think it's a very similar template to the one I chose too). Funny you mention getting the D3200 though!! That was my first camera, I brought it all around Taiwan and gave myself neck cramp and then sold it haha. But one thing I would recommend is getting into vintage lenses! They are super cheap, and the adaptors are pretty cheap too. They all have unique charms, I use my $100 1960s Takumar lenses more than my $800 modern lenses now haha. Radioactive lenses is a fun rabbit hole

(Note: I did not know what an Einspanner was until I looked it up, I love that name! Is it much different from Espresso con Panna, or just a different term?) No worries at all! My site has a lot to dig through I appreciate all the love!! and YES I already love the d3200, I figured it'd be a nice starter camera (and I've heard from many people it was also their first camera)! Thank you so much for the recommendation, I never even considered getting an adapter for vintage lenses. That's definitely something I'm interested in doing once I have a bit more money and can drop a couple hundred $$ on a few

What is your favorite drink to order at a coffee shop?: Filter Drip Single Origin (hmm maybe Central America?)

Hello, I just want to say, this is the website with the coolest aesthetic I have seen on here. Actually so much that I signed up using freecodecamp to try and learn html and css (hopefully this will be better than my recent endevour into primary level maths). How did you learn how to do all this? It's so refreshing to be on geocities, I can feel the personality of the person rather than just an idealised image they present of themselves through insta or whatever. Anyway, when(if) I eventually get around to making a geocities website of my own, I am definitely going to do to the wikipedia thing (hopefully this will not cause rabbit hole syndrome)

Replied on: October 30, 2025 at 1:05:31 PM

this is SO sweet, thank you so much!!! I don't have any sort of formal training as far as learning html/css goes-- usually I will do a rough layout of what I want my site to look like on photoshop, and then if I don't know how to implement the design, I'll straight up google something like "how to make glowing text in css" hahahaha and SO many awesome sites on neocities have full lists of resources with tutorials on how to do certain things, code snippets, free layouts with code you can play around with. A lot of people started with resources from people like sadgrl and branched out from there! I also include where my own refs/inspo came from on my credits page. I'm so glad you like my site, and I look forward to you making one as well!! Crafting your own wikipedia list is so much fun.
